Carousel Print Club
In February 2025 we will be launching the Carousel Print Club. Our print club journey begins with the theme of Screen Printing. Our 5 sessions are on every Wednesday evening 6pm-9pm, we will teach you the entire process of screen printing onto paper, garments and other materials. After the 6 sessions you can become a print club member and solo print regularly on Wednesdays for £30 per month

Our sessions include entry to Drink N Draw + Collage N Cocktails, which take place on Wednesdays as well.

Anyone who would like to learn the art of Screen Printing and have fun along the way.
Small businesses and bands that would like to create ethical and sustainable merchandise.
You will gain the skills to become a competent screen printer and will be able to become a Print Club member and use the Carousel equipment solo. We will also show you how to Screen Print in a punk DIY way, where you are able to print at home.
Print club allows you to learn at your own pace, you can learn week after week or stagger learning each stage at times that suite you, just let us know which stage you’re at!

What will we do in each session?
Session 1 -Introduction
In the first session we will have an introduction to coating screen a screen with emulsion and mono printing printing processes. You will leave with a variety of unique artworks and some screens that will be ready to expose on your next session.

Session 2 - Getting a design ready and exposing a screen.
In this session we will learn how to edit our artwork in photoshop to achieve the best results in our screen exposures and to make the most of each screen. We will spend time editing our designs in the Carousel I-mac suite getting advice and tips. We will then expose multiple designs onto our screens and learn how to make the most of each exposure.
Session 4 - Printing onto fabric
In this session we will learn how to print onto fabric. We will print onto tote bags and tea towels. We will learn about different types of ink and which ones to use and when.
We will learn how to set up a Carousel for accurate printing
Session 3 - Printing onto paper
In this session we will focus on printing our designs onto specialist papers, we will use Neon inks and combine mono printing techniques to create unique artworks. This session will improve our printing skills so that we’re ready to print onto garments.
Session 5 - Printing onto garments
In our final session we will cover printing onto T-shirts. We will print onto a 2x black T-shirts + the option to print on extras that you can bring with you. In this session we’ll recap on the steps of the previous sessions and finalise.
