Screen Printing onto Apparel

Screen Printing is one of the oldest ways to reproduce artwork. Versatile in nature it involves you pushing ink through a stencil onto a surface. In these workshops you will be printing onto wearable apparel and clothing!

What you will do…
In the first session we will experiment with pre-made screens and experiment with a range of printmaking techniques.

At the end of this session you will be shown how to coat up a screen with emulsion ready for you to print your own design in the second session. In the second session we will expose your design onto a screen and you will print your own t-shirt!

Although these workshops can be booked separately it is highly recommended you join us for both sessions so you can learn all the stages of the screen printing process.

About the artists…
This workshop is led by artist Martin Rayment and designer and printmaker Benjamin Kay.
